Pouring. Me- another cup of coffee

Wet, overcast. Probably heavy showers off and on. The water was blowing in under roof. Dragged Selph in from the rain.

Better to leave plants in the rain than to pull them out, waterlogged, and let them sit in 100% humidity?  It won't be possible to move the big pots for every rain shower in the coming months. I put Selph back in his spot. Put Cloe, some Sophie Cecile cuttings I started and a pot of un-id'd rhizomes on the table out of the wet. They are over-potted-- but what IS over-potted?  They've got to start somewhere..

Ultimately,  growing potted begonias, will come down finding the PERFECT balance of drainage and light moisture retention. Slightly moist and absolutely free draining. Using the Miracle-Gro potting soil with moisture control will be an interesting experiment.
